It has grown on me after every listening and now I believe "S.A.T.O." and "Diary of a madman" are the real big hits of this album, far better than all the other songs: these two are well worth the price of the album.   5. Aber nun zu "Diary Of A Madman": Es ist wie gesagt härter und auch homogener als sein Vorgänger und für mich nach "Ozzmosis" und "No More Tears" das drittbeste Album von Ozzy. Das Album kommt ohne Schwachstelle daher und ist auch ziemlich abwechslungsreich. Von schnellen, zum Headbangen geeigneten Songs wie z.B. "S.A.T.O." über Hits wie z.B/5().

  7. The follow-up to the masterful Blizzard of Ozz, Diary of a Madman was rushed into existence by a band desperate to finish its next album before an upcoming tour. As a result, it doesn't feel quite as fully realized -- a couple of the ballads are overly long and slow the momentum, and Randy Rhoads' guide solo on "Little Dolls" was never replaced with a version intended for the public.
